One injured two hospitalized in fryer accident

Three people were taken to local area hospitals this past week after a fryer accident outside an East Hartford Cabela's. According to reports, two 16-year-old employees of the World's Foremost Outfitter were playing with a lighter outside the store near an adjacent donut truck. The lighter fell into the truck's fryer, splashing hot oil onto the employees and a customer.

Hartford resident, 3 others, injured in motorcycle accident

A Hartford man was injured in Wethersfield this past week in a serious accident involving four motorcycles. The crash closed Route 15 near Maple Avenue for over six hours as investigators reviewed the scene of the motorcycle accident.
