Wrongful Death Lawsuits, Settlements Following Fatal Car Accident

Last March, a 20 year-old premed student at Connecticut College was killed when the van she was riding in was struck by a vehicle going the wrong way near exit 79A on I-395. This week, her family hopes to resolve the wrongful death lawsuit they filed against the bar where the driver of that vehicle had been drinking.

Tubing accident injures 5 southwest of Hartford

A tubing accident at a Connecticut ski area sent five people to the hospital with a variety of injuries. According to reports, a group of six friends were being pulled up the hill by a cable when their inner tube suddenly broke free. The tube careened down the mountain and collided with the base of the lift. Five of the six individuals were transported to local hospitals.

Wrong way crash in Hartford results in head injury, death

Those involved in serious motor vehicle accidents often suffer severe injury. A collision can result in a head or brain injury, which can lead to disability and even death. In fact, a Hartford woman was killed due to a head on crash on I-84. A 29-year-old male drove his Audi A5 the wrong way entering the interstate at the exit 29 off ramp. The man was traveling east in the left lane when he struck the woman's Ford Five Hundred.
