Connecticut doctor blames brain injury on judgment lapse

Last Monday, the Hartford Courant reported that Connecticut medical regulators are considering revoking the license of a Massachusetts psychiatrist. The doctor had his Massachusetts license revoked earlier, and Connecticut is apparently considering following suit. The Connecticut Medical Examining Board released a proposed decision recommending revocation.

Back-to-back accidents on Connecticut Route 30

Route 30 has been a dangerous spot as of late. In the same day, emergency responders were called twice to Route 30. The first was a motorcycle accident occurring near the intersection of East Street and the Hartford Turnpike. The second traffic incident involved a burning car on the other end of Route 30.

Tractor trailer accident in Connecticut results in injuries

A recent accident in Connecticut highlights the often serious nature of accidents that involve tractor trailers. The accident occurred during the early morning hours over a weekend on Interstate 95. The tractor trailer accident involved a semi truck and a car, which had a number of occupants.

Driver not charged in fatal accident outside Hartford

Police in Wethersfield have confirmed that the driver involved in a fatal pedestrian accident will not be charged. The accident occurred last month on Wolcott Hill Road. A 72-year-old woman was killed as she crossed the street from the Bliss Market shopping center. After a thorough investigation, authorities concluded that pedestrian error, not the driver, cause the fatal accident.
