Scott F. Lewis earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts (1981) and obtained a Diploma from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (1995). He received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut (1976). Mr. Lewis is a member of the Hartford County, Connecticut, and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He has lectured at Quinnipiac University, Morse School of Business and the People's Law School. He is former counsel to the Connecticut Psychological Association and the Connecticut Optometric Association. Mr. Lewis has tried countless cases to fruition and was one of the plaintiffs' lawyers in TWA Flight 800 litigation.
Mr. Lewis is actively involved in his community. He is President of the Trinity Club of Hartford, and Vice President and Secretary of Congregation Beth Israel, one of the largest Reform Jewish Synagogues in New England. He also chairs its cemetery and planned giving committees.

An avid road cyclist and mountain biker, Scott F. Lewis holds memberships in the Connecticut Bicycle Coalition and the New England Mountain Bike Association. He has been trained as a first responder and was formerly a member of the New Mountain Bike Patrol, a first aid response program for mountain bikers injured on the trail. He is a former Commissioner of the Natural Resource Commission for the Town of Avon and was instrumental in his town's adopting and constructing a Rails-to-Trails project. Prior to commencing his law career, Mr. Lewis worked for Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford, Connecticut and Boston, Massachusetts; his training in adjusting insurance claims is invaluable to his personal injury representation.
Mr. Lewis is married to his wife, Heidi, who speaks three languages and is also an attorney. They have two children.
